News 12 offers extensive internship programs for qualified students interested in seeing what it means to be a Cablevisionary.
It's an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on electronic news gathering and production experience, with an award-winning news network that provides viewers with important local information that they can't get anywhere else. Our interns gain valuable knowledge of the news, TV journalism and digital industries they can use to jump-start their careers.
We recruit top students from colleges and universities around the country into our cutting-edge program. Internships are offered during the fall, spring and summer semesters.
Available internships include:
- Assignment Desk
- Reporter Assistant
- Studio Operations
Qualified interns will have completed at least one semester of college in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, TV Production, Photography, Film, Graphic Design, or other directly related field of study. You must also receive college credit for your internship to be eligible.
